Senior QuizMaster--Marcus Mennenga |
Marcus is the only person who remembers what Matt was like when he was in diapers. While he is a great quizmaster, he is not good at submitting his bio. So next time you see him, let him know that he needs to write one.

Senior QuizMaster--David Poston
David Poston quizzed for Athens Christian School. He was a member of their 2003 National Championship team. After graduating, he immediately became a constant in FQA tournaments north of the state line (and he has even travelled to Florida for a few events. In a recent article by BibleQuizzer.net, he ranked as the #1 QuizMaster at Athens famous New Year's Classic.
David is the first FQA QuizMaster to be almost exclusively referred to as his nickname--Tex. Tex is a favorite of Quizzers and Directors alike. He has singlehandedly come up with several ideas that have improved the FQA by leaps and bounds. There is no doubt that the FQA is already superior to what it was before his help began.
Junior QuizMaster--Jesse Startup |
Jesse Startup quizzed for two years and was on two top 7 teams at AACS. He won the Chauncey Award in 2002-03. While his age clearly leaves him with a year of eligibility, his new church team is competing in the RAMS division, so he has dedicated himself to helping that team and decided to help out as a quizmaster also.
Jesse is the official picture taker of FQA South division and his slowness in taking a picture is matched only by the slowness of the webmaster to post it. We love Jesse and all he does to help keep teams having a good time.
Senior QuizMaster--Lynn Warren |
Lynn Warren quizzed for several years at both Olympic Summer and Winter Retreat competitions and won a championship at both events. She was a top quizzer in every tournament in which she competed. She is a junior quizmaster.
Lynn describes herself as being in the right place at the right time. She has developed a love for writing questions that places her among the fastest to ever write them. Her dedication to writing questions has allowed many tournaments to go ahead without worries of repeat questions! |
