The first ever college Bible Quiz tournament was held April 3 at the Atlanta Spring board. Despite only having 3 teams, the competition was fierce. The university of Florida won first place, with Georgia Tech (ACC champion) and the University of South Carolina coming in 2nd and 3rd respectively. In the second College Event, Georgia Tech was able to redeem themselves with a win. University of Florida was unable to attend, but we hope to see Seminole Community College (state of Florida champions) rebound from a slightly disappointing August performance in October.
College Bible Quizzing has several familiar names. Israel Henriquez to first place along with the help of John Mark Palacios. Georgia Tech was led by Brant Callaway and the University of South Carolina featured quizmaster extraordinaire Dustin ManWarring. David Poston hopes to bring Gainesville College in the future. While David Marriott is interested in bringing a team from his new college. Jesse Startup is heading a Seminole Community College team, and Tiffany Suddeth is hoping to get a Southeastern College team together. We'd like to talk Tiffany Parrott into leading a Bob Jones team.
